Facebook is now paying its users

I’ve noticed that many SiteTalk supporters complain that Facebook is reluctant in paying its users while they make millions of dollars in revenue. To SiteTalk supporters, this is simply unfair. Hence, they would argue that SiteTalk is a better social network because profits are shared.

However, according to Mashable, Facebook has just recently introduced a system where users are paid to view certain ads (at 10 cents/ad). And the credits earned can be used to purchase goods on Facebook Deals.

You can read a bit more about this here: http://mashable.com/2011/05/06/facebookfacebook-10-cents-ads/

More importantly, we need to think about the implications this has for SiteTalk.

If SiteTalk is attractive because it pays its users, it is not at all difficult for Facebook to implement something similar. And they’ve already got a huge user base. So why would anyone switch to another social network where they’ll have to re-add all their friends?

That’s right…they have huge problem with “active” members.

They don’t threatening Sitetalk, but it’s really pointless explaining that.
As you can see I don’t post anymore, I think that everything it’s said.
We only can wait and see who was right.
I’m just wondering, how much buy your opinion, Sitetalk need to have users for you, to say that you was wrong about it.

If I have ads with facebook and If it is really true, I will withdraw the ads with facebook.
The reason is simple. I do not need wrong audiences who just want to earn click money to waste my ads expense.
This is a sucide for facebook.

I agree with you Joe! You really want people that are interested in the product to click on the ad rather than clicking on it for the sake of getting something back in return

That is why some investors really suspect the real value of the social network.
